Things to bear in mind:
- We have a very limited budget for funding new publications.
- As a small publisher, we can't guarantee what retailers we can get new publications into. Most places that stock our publications are independent bookshops and gallery shops.
- Our new releases typically don't receive any mainstream media attention, partly because we can't send free copies out for reviews.
- We love a challenge, and are always up for exploring new ideas and non-traditional publishing.
- When we work on new publications with an artist/author, it's always a collaboration to ensure everyone is happy and proud of the outcome.
- We closely engage with artists at a community level, which larger publishers can fall behind at due to their size.
- While some publishers try to make every single product fit their brand, we work with the artist(s) to fit the style, feeling and form of their practice and individual projects.
