Submission Terms:
- To submit work, you must be 18 years or older. In certain publications this can be waived with parental permission, please contact us about this if it applies.
- You must be the original creator of any work you submit. For work made in teams/collaborations, all parties must be informed of and agree to the submission and potential publishing of the artwork/writing.
- You should only submit one body of work per open call.
- Violation of any terms described here will exempt your current and all future submissions.
Exemptions:
- Artwork/Writing created with Generative AI and/or Large Language Models will not be considered.
- Artwork/Writing that is found to be plagiarized or stolen will not be considered.
- Artwork/Writing that promotes hatred or bigotry towards any group will not be considered. Hate crimes will be reported.
Copyright Terms:
- The copyright for artwork(s) and writing remains with the original creator(s).
- The copyright for our publications and publication design is owned by Delos Publishing.
- No part of our publications may be used, copied, or reproduced in any manner for distribution or in training artificial intelligence technologies or systems, in accordance with Article 4(3) of the DSM Directive 2019/790.
Publishing Terms:
- In submitting work, you give permission to Delos Publishing & Design to include your submission (name, artwork, pronouns, statements, etc) in the stated publication for the open call.
- You also agree to your work appearing online, on our website and the websites of any retailers who stock the publication, and on various social media platforms.
- If stated in the open call submission, we may also share your work directly on our social media platforms. This is provided as an option in the submission form.
- You agree to your artwork, writing, and any other IP submitted to be printed, sold, and distributed by Delos Publishing & Design and any other distributors and retailers we work with for the applicable publication.
- Featured artists/writers cannot be entitled to a free copy (as an independent, small publisher this isn't financially possible) however a discount code will be provided to those involved in the publication that removes the profit margin from each unit (often this is 10-15%, but will be confirmed at a later date).
